To ensure the accuracy of the data in the ECARUCA Register, it is of utmost importance that the breakpoints of the cytogenetic aberrations are correctly determined and characterised in sufficient detail.

ECARUCA offers the possibility of assistance with cytogenetic analysis to less-facilitated laboratories in Europe, in case a rare chromosomal aberration is suspected in a patient. Patient material can be analysed and characterised at our laboratory in Zuerich, after which the data is made available to the ECARUCA Register.

Please note that our aim is not to collect patient material, but to make data available through our database, which otherwise would not have been uncovered.
